2018 – Duo

JE PENSE DONC, JE NE SUIS PAS explore le tourment intérieur provoqué par l’incessant flot de nos pensées.
Prisonnier de son propre mental, l’être oscille entre passé et futur, sans parvenir à habiter le présent.
La pièce met en scène ce combat intime où surgissent plusieurs “moi”, fragments d’un esprit saturé qui tente de se libérer.
À travers un crescendo chorégraphique allant de la retenue à l’explosion, de l’oppression à la libération, la danse révèle la violence psychique, les tentations d’échappatoire et la lutte pour lâcher prise.
Entre tension, errance et délivrance, Je pense donc, je ne suis pas invite à une traversée où le corps cherche à reconquérir l’instant, à sortir de la cage mentale pour retrouver un souffle, une présence, une possibilité de vivre enfin l’ici et maintenant.

JE PENSE DONC, JE NE SUIS PAS explores the inner turmoil created by the relentless flow of our thoughts.
Trapped within their own mind, the performer oscillates between past and future, unable to inhabit the present moment.
The piece stages this intimate struggle where multiple “selves” emerge, fragments of an overwhelmed psyche striving for release.
Through a choreographic crescendo moving from restraint to eruption, from oppression to liberation, the dance reveals psychological violence, the temptation to escape, and the fight to let go.
Between tension, wandering and release, Je pense donc, je ne suis pas invites the audience into a journey where the body seeks to reclaim the present, to step out of its mental cage, and to rediscover breath, presence, and the possibility of finally living in the here and now.
